READ BOOKS

Why reading is so meaningful to your life is that the moment you start to read something, you begin to nurture your mental, emotional and psychological well-being.  No matter what you read be it the dictionary, a poem, a children’s book, the Scriptures, a novel, a series of How To books; each book you hold in your hands gives you the opportunity to bring yourself up to date with new knowledge and ideas. In order to become a smarter you, read as many books as you can get your hands on.

recently published

I published my first book in 2012, in fact I published 14 books at the time due to a very committed mentor. While I was working on those first books, I began gathering material together that I had amassed since faxes were being sent around the world as the way to share funny stories. And from there I have continued although I must admit I did have a long break during an unsettled period in my life.

Today I have 83 books already finished and out into the world and working on those above as well as others to reach a goal of having 100 up before November 2019.

Seth Godin so aptly put it in a recent webinar

“If you’re publishing yourself, you have the most committed publisher in the world…. You’re still going to be the head of marketing for your book. So how do you learn that? Well, you learn it by doing. And the easiest way to do it…is to come out with a book a week on the Kindle…. It costs nothing to do this. It costs less than it cost me to mail my proposals to book publishers. So what are you waiting for!?” — Seth Godin
